Hey Charleston. It’s officially Bridge Run week. Between the run and all the after parties (most of which we tried to include below!), there’s a whole lot going on downtown on Saturday. If that’s not your thing, there are still some events around town to check out this week- our favorite is the Mount Pleasant Farmers Market season opening. See for yourself below.

Mount Pleasant Farmers Market Season Opening | Mount Pleasant Farmers Market | 3:30 pm | Free | Mark your calendars for the opening of the Mount Pleasant Farmers Market on April 2 at 3:30 p.m. at Moultrie Middle School. The weekly market, founded in 1998, features vendors selling local farm-fresh produce, meats, sauces, baked goods and other specialty foods, as well as prepared food vendors for those looking for a unique meal.

Art in the Garden with Christine Lashley | Nathaniel Russell House | 5:30 pm | $55 | Wander through the lush garden of the Nathaniel Russell House Museum adorned with original works of art by Christine Lashley. Hosted by The Principle Gallery, Art in the Garden with Christine Lashley will be an opportunity to meet the artist, view her original work and explore the historic 1808 house museum with light bites and refreshments.

We will have lots of awesome local vendors, plus Seol Ahs Korean Corn Dogs will be here with some delicious dinner to go with your sour beers! 47th Annual Cooper River Bridge Run | Ravenel Bridge | 7:00 am | Prices Vary | The Cooper River Bridge Run has a tremendous impact on the local Community, the Hospitality and Tourism industry and other business entities by generating thirty-three ($33) million dollars in one weekend. CRBR also supports the Lowcountry through our Charity Connection and Grants programs. Ninety-two cents ($.95) of every dollar spent goes towards our mission.
