Monday, Mar. 4

Poke Bowl Cooking Class | Frothy Beard Brewing Company | 6:00 pm | $55 | Take your tastebuds to a tropical paradise in this immersive cooking class! Led by Chef John, learn the recipes and techniques to craft a modern Hawaiian dish with authentic flavors. You'll learn how to properly handle and prepare tuna poke, or raw fish, for a poke bowl. Then, fill the poke bowl with sweet mangos, crispy shallots, and fresh vegetables along with the fish. Plus, top the bowl with a spicy mayo for a little more flavor.

Tuesday, Mar. 5

Délices à l'orange Culinary Workshop | Charleston Visitor Center | 11:00 am | Free | Join us for this culinary workshop with a dash of Huguenot history led by Society member and Cordon Bleu chef, Linda Gillette. We will harken back to the orange groves of our ancestors in colonial Charleston and learn to make Oranges au Champagne and Crystalized Orange Peel.

Charleston Wine & Food Festival | Multiple Locations | Mar. 6 - Mar. 10 | Prices Vary | Join us for the 2024 Charleston Wine + Food Festival, where food and culture meet! Consisting of in-restaurant brunches, lunches, and dinners, cooking classes, beverage workshops, large walkabout thematic events, educational excursions, and a large sampling experience at Riverfront Park, there is an experience for everyone!

Surrounded by reclaimed wood from Churchill Downs and speakeasy-style sophistication, attendees will taste the best of Derby City’s classic dishes—prepared with a modern twist by acclaimed Louisville chef Andrew McCabe of bar Vetti.
Jurassic Park in Concert: Film with The Charleston Symphony | Gaillard Center | 7:00 pm | $36+ | Now audiences can experience Jurassic Park as never before: projected in HD with a full symphony orchestra performing John Williams’ iconic score live to picture.
Sofar Sounds | Firefly Distillery | 7:30 pm | $25 | Join us for another session of Sofar Sounds, a private concert series featuring three local artists, each with their own sound and style, performing in captivating, intimate venues for secret, live music performances around the globe, creating an immersive experience that brings guests and artists closer together.

Plant-Based Junk Food Popup | Ghost Monkey Brewing | 4:00 pm | Free | Vegan junk food pop up! We will be bringing out our very popular Crispy Chik'n Sandwiches and Loaded Fries. Our patties are made from a combination of soy, wheat, and peas. We are entirely nut free.

Saturday, Mar. 9

St. Patrick’s Day Block Party & Parade | E Montague Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405, United States | 12:00 pm | Free | Join us for the 20th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Block Party & Parade, the biggest St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the Lowcountry! The celebration will feature live music, street vending and fare from Olde North Charleston restaurants, a Kid’s Zone, and more. The block party kicks off with a parade starting on Park Place East (adjacent to East Montague Avenue and across from the Park Circle Community Center) at 12:00 noon. The parade route will proceed down East Montague Avenue through the block party location to Virginia Avenue.
8th Anniversary Lowcountry Luau | Low Tide Brewing | 12:00 pm | Free | The first 350 people will get a lei upon entry as they are welcomed with a ukulele entrance. We will have Rebel Taqueria and Pineapple Express food trucks, live music by Holy City Steel Collective, limbo contest, hula hoop competition. Dust off those Hawaiian shirts, hula skirts, and coconut tops cause we are ready to party!
Charleston Vintage Market | The Refinery | 11:00 am | Free | Shop with over 40 vendors selling vintage clothing, sneakers, art, home decor, jewelry & more! Enjoy food & drinks from The Whale, Cleats & The Sweetgrass Lounge & A Coffee Movement. This event is free for all ages, and dogs are welcome!
