Poke Bowl Cooking Class | Frothy Beard Brewing Company | 6:00 pm | $55 | Take your tastebuds to a tropical paradise in this immersive cooking class! Led by Chef John, learn the recipes and techniques to craft a modern Hawaiian dish with authentic flavors. You'll learn how to properly handle and prepare tuna poke, or raw fish, for a poke bowl. Then, fill the poke bowl with sweet mangos, crispy shallots, and fresh vegetables along with the fish. Plus, top the bowl with a spicy mayo for a little more flavor.

Délices à l'orange Culinary Workshop | Charleston Visitor Center | 11:00 am | Free | Join us for this culinary workshop with a dash of Huguenot history led by Society member and Cordon Bleu chef, Linda Gillette. We will harken back to the orange groves of our ancestors in colonial Charleston and learn to make Oranges au Champagne and Crystalized Orange Peel.

St. Patrick’s Day Block Party & Parade | E Montague Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405, United States | 12:00 pm | Free | Join us for the 20th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Block Party & Parade, the biggest St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the Lowcountry! The celebration will feature live music, street vending and fare from Olde North Charleston restaurants, a Kid’s Zone, and more. The block party kicks off with a parade starting on Park Place East (adjacent to East Montague Avenue and across from the Park Circle Community Center) at 12:00 noon. The parade route will proceed down East Montague Avenue through the block party location to Virginia Avenue.
8th Anniversary Lowcountry Luau | Low Tide Brewing | 12:00 pm | Free | The first 350 people will get a lei upon entry as they are welcomed with a ukulele entrance. We will have Rebel Taqueria and Pineapple Express food trucks, live music by Holy City Steel Collective, limbo contest, hula hoop competition. Dust off those Hawaiian shirts, hula skirts, and coconut tops cause we are ready to party!
