MayDay Marathon | Charleston Beer Runners | 7:00 am | Free | See all the beauty of Charleston (and a fair amount of traffic) as you run from The Windjammer on Isle of Palms to Folly Beach (full marathon) and from The Waterfront Park Pineapple downtown to Folly Beach (half marathon).
Bad Religion and Social Distortion Concert | Firefly Distillery | 6:00 pm | $50 | This is an outdoor general admission venue. The show will take place rain or shine.

North Charleston Farmers Market Season Opening | Park Circle | 3:00 pm | Free | The North Charleston Farmers Market offers fresh, locally grown SC Certified produce, specialty foods, and art & craft vendors. The weekly event also features a rotating schedule of food trucks and special activities (yoga, book mobile, kid's crafts, etc.).
Live Under The Oaks Concert Series | Mount Pleasant Towne Center | 6:00 pm | Free | Grab your chair or blanket and join us for our May outdoor concert series Live Under The Oaks. Emceed by Johnny O' of 95SX, all concerts are free to attend. Grab take-out from your favorite Towne Centre restaurant or visit our weekly Food Truck for nibbles; beer & wine will be available for purchase from Burtons Grill + Bar.
Cheers on the Pier | Mount Pleasant Pier | 5:30 pm | Free | Wrap up your workday on the Mount Pleasant Pier with live music, craft beer, good friends, and a gorgeous sunset. No admission fee. Blankets and chairs are welcome, as seating is limited.

Entertainment this summer will be live music from the Dave Landeo Trio performing a variety of upbeat, energetic covers and originals or DJ Bill Shelton spinning the hottest oldies and beach music.
Welcome To The Jungle Opening Reception | The Vendue | 5:00 pm | Free | Kick-off Charleston's First Friday ArtWalk with a wild twist at The Vendue! Dive deep into an exhibit that explores the vibrant chaos and harmony of the jungle, both around and within us. May the Fish Be with Youth Fishing Rodeo | Colonial Lake | 8:30 am | Free | The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is partnering with the City of Charleston for the Star Wars themed May the Fish Be with Youth Fishing Rodeo. This is a catch and release fishing rodeo (not a tournament) and instructors will be available to help anglers learn the basics of saltwater fishing. Children 15 years of age or younger and their parents/guardians are welcome.
